I think you have to worry when you see a great achievement by both James and Michael been recognized and getting thumbs down on their own co forum. Huge congratulations to both, and richly deserved. Hon the royal royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 17035 - 10/04/2019 17:45:32 2178378 Link 2 |
Yeah I taught that was strange too with the thumbs down. But must not be a royal county supporter. Me thinks.

Hearsay.... the fact is that for the last 2 years Andy tried to do everything himself which resulted in everything being slightly off...since Nally has come on board, Nally does the vast majority of the training, Andy does some. but has the time to deal with players on a 1 to 1 basis which is his particular strength and also oversee every aspect of what is going on. After last years debacle all players involved over the course of the year were consulted and the key area was that they felt they needed a specialised coach to come in, in fairness to Andy he took this on board and Nally was approached. It says a lot that he listened to the input and acted to improve things, says a lot about him as a leader in my opinion. By all accounts although Gerry is an absolute Meath legend, it is positive that he is not involved this year.

David rispin, we are Meath podcast. After the Fermanagh game. I'll take it that David probably has more insight into these things than most of us on here would. Andy is much more hands on this year than previous. His words.
