Good result today for Armagh. If 3 teams finish on the same points, it's all down to score difference and not head to heads? Selwyn (Meath) - Posts: 195 - 16/03/2019 16:57:48 2172645 Link 0 |
Correct. So a meath win tomorrow would mean they would need to be beaten by about 10 v fermamagh and Donegal beat Kildare to miss out.... Jinxie (Meath) - Posts: 6158 - 16/03/2019 17:00:42 2172647 Link 1 |
Yep that's it. While I expect donegal to beat Kildare don't think it will be by much, still think Meath are even stronger fav to go up

I've been in that situation myself on a few occasions, make sure to bring the flags tomorrow, as it is looking very good for us. She will be delighted

A win in one of our last 2 games should see us promoted unless we lose our other match by a cricket score. ROYALOPTIMIST (Meath) - Posts: 178 - 16/03/2019 18:28:01 2172697 Link 0 |
Think if we win tomorrow we will be promoted, need a lot of things to go wrong not to be.

Downside of playing after all the other results is the chance Meath start to get distracted and looking to the last game. Wet ground in an away match against a relegation threatened team will be no joke. Hopefully there will be a decent Meath crowd in ennis tomorrow cabbage (Meath) - Posts: 143 - 16/03/2019 20:17:02 2172751 Link 0 |
I'd say we will outnumber Clare fans. Looking immensely forward to it. Even though I had started on journey today, wasn't too far away. Can't bloody wait. All focus on one game

If pitch is still unplayable tomorrow I understand the game goes to Pairc Tailtean on Monday. I was only halfway down when we got word but from people I spoke to down there the pitch was quite waterlogged. madmeath (Meath) - Posts: 44 - 16/03/2019 21:11:38 2172793 Link 0 |
Hard to see a big improvement by tomorrow, considering the rain that was falling during Kerry Mayo game in Tralee

People who have been realistic about our performances seem to be portrayed as being negative and pessimistic but thats the nature of the posters here. For what its worth this has been a poor Division 2 so far but I will take our position gladly. ROYALOPTIMIST (Meath) - Posts: 178 - 17/03/2019 10:11:01 2172947 Link 2 |
