There'll be no issue getting in. You could contact your local club for tickets but you'll be able to pay in at the gate.

Hopefully a big day out in Croker for the little lad to look forward to in a few weeks.

Yeah fingers crossed, that would be a first for him so would be a great experience. He has a signed sliotar from their game against London, Seanie Geraghty teaches in his school, knew my little lad was going to it and it was his first game so brought him in the sliotar signed after the game so the idol in our house is Seanie, I'm all for encouraging his interest in the sport while its there.

Best of luck to the hurlers tomorrow. Here's hoping they get a result.

Good result and were pushed for most of the game which must stand to them. Appear to be a very fit team which really won it for them the last time.

By all accounts Meath did well to come back and win against a good Derry team. Should be favourites now to beat Down and win Christy Ring Cup.

Very good result , going up there is not easy , showed great heart after the two goals they let in

Should push on in the final and get back to the level they want to be at

Derry were the one team I was worried about. Anything can happen in final but I am hoping we have too much for Down. Back to Joe McDonagh, this is the level we want to be at.

I see the leagues finished last night
Longwoods stay in div 1 did not last long

Things in kilskyre must be bad , very poor league , a very old team anytime i seen them recently
Athboy improve all the time
Ratoath Fielding 3 league teams is very impressive

Longwood will struggle in SHC A this year going on league form. The hoganstand report on Kildalkey v Trim game sounded like it was keenly contested, Kildalkey v Kiltale final I think. Clann na nGael should really be Senior/Div 1, good underage. Kildalkey seconds v Rathmolyon in Div 3 final, is that Noel Kirby back for Kildalkey seconds? If so they're going to be serious contenders to Kiltale with him back, unreal hurler, probably the best in the county.

So our hurlers are in the Ring Final which is brilliant. Would love to see them back in Joe McDonagh. Here's hoping for a win next Saturday. Best wishes to all the players and management team.

Best of luck to meath on sat.

I note that the 1st round hurling fixtures are out. Who thought it was a good idea to have a long wood and killyon playing in rathmolyon on a friday night. No offense to the good people of rathmolyon but their ground is not up to hosting a senior hurling fixture. Small dressing rooms, lack of parking, dangerous entrance to the ground etc I've never heard of a senior hurling match being held here before. Every other match is being held in trim or navan. Will longwood and kiltale be held here or longwood and kildalkey. Not a chance. Secondly I find it strange that the county senior manager is a current referee for senior championship. Whilst I note he is a good referee surely he should be kept away from players he is training week in week out.

i would not agree. best playing surface in the county. club have brand new dressing rooms, and lots of parking and this club deserve this fixture. you obviously haven't been to rathmolyan in years!

Have to agree, Rathmolyon pitch is Super, top 5 pitch in Meath. Cant recall any issues with parking problems or dressing rooms. Was at a Camogie match there.

Foley91 has been negative about the meath hurlers on this thread, so its just being negative for the sake of it

Pitch there is in fantastic nick

Only issue i would have is the narrow lane down to pitch if traffic both ways
They have done great work over there

It is a random venue for senior but could hold more games from now on who knows

Roll on championship

overthehill72. Dont understand what you are on about. I wished the meath hurlers the best for sat and never mentioned them in my post. I simply queried the use of rathmolyon grounds for a senior hurling fixture. I assume the grounds will be used again when the big hitters are out like kildalkey and kiltale but somehow I doubt it.
