Is "club month" in this county just reserved for the football and forget about the Hurling? No sign of any hurling in April. Meath county board giving priority to the football once again. hurlinglad15 (Meath) - Posts: 36 - 08/04/2019 20:53:20 2178102 Link 1 |
is this entire thread to give out about everything possible even where there is nothing wrong. no hurling club in meath would like to play championship now. the league is on track, and there is hurling at the end of the month.

Championship in June on planner lads JohnboyWalton (Meath) - Posts: 19 - 09/04/2019 12:47:58 2178202 Link 0 |
Nothing wrong? A month so called dedicated to clubs when Hurling clubs can't even get a challenge game in cause there is so much football on. I know there is championship on in June which is perfectly fine but why not get a league game or 2 in when teams can play there county lads. start the Brendan Davis or will the county board just make a mockery of that competition again. Or as someone else said reserve the bank holiday weekends for Hurling...already played on paddy's day so why not it's only the hurlers.

2nd year in a row a match involving Kildalkey gets abandoned begining (UK) - Posts: 277 - 29/04/2019 09:24:33 2180749 Link 0 |
be hard brush this one under the carpet like last year hurlit (Meath) - Posts: 312 - 29/04/2019 09:35:05 2180751 Link 0 |
It will be hushed up as usual wit no punishment. If it happened on the street it would be different story. There is no place for individuals who would resort to that type of behavior in front of children. Foley91 (Meath) - Posts: 339 - 29/04/2019 09:37:10 2180752 Link 0 |
This type of behavior is a poor reflection on the association and in particular Meath hurling. begining (UK) - Posts: 277 - 29/04/2019 10:20:05 2180759 Link 1 |
Ratoath v Kildalkey > Classic Kildalkey will get there own way as usual game abandoned and nothing will be done about the disgraceful carry on that occurred. Wiseman7 (Meath) - Posts: 16 - 29/04/2019 13:54:44 2180820 Link 1 |
Hopefully the truth will come out about the shamosal at Ratoath/Kildalkey game head4dblackspot (Meath) - Posts: 447 - 29/04/2019 14:37:16 2180833 Link 1 |
Was there sendings off at the Kildalkey game? Or did it just escalate in one flash point?

No suspensions last year in the bd cup match , no mention of it anywhere , red cards vanished overnight hurlit (Meath) - Posts: 312 - 29/04/2019 15:25:59 2180841 Link 1 |
I'll wager €20 that this will be brushed under the carpet, no suspensions will result, and the game will be quietly refixed for some other date. CastleBravo (Meath) - Posts: 1391 - 29/04/2019 16:12:44 2180863 Link 6 |
I cant imagine a situation where only 1 side was physical in a row. Ashrules (Dublin) - Posts: 342 - 29/04/2019 16:37:19 2180866 Link 0 |
Like I said both sides involved in the hargy bargy one side was always trying to make it a fist fight and been held back Then at one stage got a free run and landed a sucker punch Really unbelievable stuff And lots of people seen it so this one can't just go away Not sure if ref seen it head4dblackspot (Meath) - Posts: 447 - 29/04/2019 18:01:40 2180893 Link 0 |
This gets even more bizarre, people unsure if the referee seen alleged punches yet he abandons the game, doesn't add up. Might be wize to wait for the referee's report.
