I thought it was a very poor game, both teams seemed very nervous and kept making lots of silly mistakes. Dunboyne have been the team to beat all year and have played much better than that every time I saw them. Hopefully they can play a little freer and closer to their potential in Leinster. If they do they'll make a good fist of it. pauk123 (USA) - Posts: 189 - 15/10/2018 18:58:56 2146675 Link 1 |

That could apply to a lot of them.

Hopefully Dunboyne will give good account of themselves, our champions haven't had a great record in Leinster for a long while.

I wouldn't if his post wasn't completely inaccurate

Did you read this nugget of wisdom in your alternative match day programme?

What all the 10 year old kids. Good man yourself. My god there some sour grapes. Can you not just accept we were the best team in the county this year? Like simonstown have been the best team in the county the previous 2 years and o mahonys in the years before that. Not that it matters if there was to quote you "a lot of dubs" in the team but there isn't. McCarthy is a dub who moved into the area. That's it!

The kids supporting their club with flags and colour? I can only assume you're on a bizzare wind up, or you're really beyond help. Had a feeling I'd regret responding so I'll leave you be now.

If Meath could produce the same of atmosphere with that amount of people I think our home record in the league might be better than it has been the last few years

I never said good or bad about the crew behind goals. I had posted here the following on Tuesday but it never went up. Delighted Dunboyne won as they have been knocking on the door for 3 years and indeed as i stated before were the best team last year. Tremendous achievement for Gallagher and a great clubman he is. Summerhill are a bit short of what is required to win a sfc and if any team can take heart from this year it has to be Kells who were every bit as good as Dunboyne in the Q final but came out the wrong side. Great year for Dunboyne with junior also. Anyway gotta go and book my tickets for bus to Dublin match leaving Ashbourne club house for underdogs game Analyst (Meath) - Posts: 1338 - 18/10/2018 14:07:46 2147128 Link 13 |
Oh the commute back to his Dublin club was too much for him from Dunboyne :)

I doubt it. Not that far at all in fact. Who said it was to far for him to commute? I said he was a dub who moved into the area and wanted to play for the club. Nobody mentioned anything about his commute back to Dublin being too far. I was just highlighting the incorrect claim by analyst that there was lots of dubs on the team because there certainly is not. Again the Bitterness of some people is astounding

oh so he moved a few kilometres and decided to switch clubs?
Maestro (Meath) - Posts: 473 - 19/10/2018 20:29:56 2147289 Link 0 |
Correct . A few kilometres into the parish. Was anyone denying this ? I certainly wasn't.

I don't get this , I'm sorry I would have more of a problem if McCarthy or lowndes or whoever were in the parish and still playing for a dub club. Get over it. Nd hats more if they can add something to Meath panel. Hey should be looked at, the main reason been it might show the influx of dubs into Meath that hey we can do this. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 17035 - 20/10/2018 08:26:31 2147322 Link 2 |
