It would not surprise me if the Louth County Board moved to this match to Darver if the weather is bad on Sunday.

Ollie, couldnt see the game being moved to Darver due to capacity, would have to be moved to Navan in my opinion if anywhere.

Ah I would not mind if the match was in Navan. That's a home for home for Louth. Louth are unbeaten in their last three matches against Meath in Navan.

Which direction are you coming in from Loyalroyal? There is parking beside the garage across the road from the Super Rats but you would want to be in early. Windmill road is usually full because of the hospital so I would usually stay clear of that. I know Mother Hughes pub recently put in a car park at the back of the pub. I don't know if it is opened on a Sunday? You could ring them up and see if it is?

I forget to add you also have the hospital car park on the crosslanes across from the rats pitch.

Id be coming in from Navan direction Ollie. I know Mother Hughes pub alright will give them a bell or i may just make sure im in Drogheda early give me chance to scour for street parking. Will avoid Windmill road, never thought of Hospital! Thanks for that info.

After last Sunday I cannot see a big crowd going to this.

I think Meath will put in the effort of the last 15 minutes from the Cork game into this one right from the start. They will need to because we have allowed too many teams to get a run on us in recent years. However, if we do so, I think we can get a result by 3-5 points.

There will be plenty of parking space on both sides of the road into Drogheda before you come to the turn for the hospital and before the garage/car showroom on LHS. Just drive straight ahead at roundabout and head towards the North road (not the M1 retail park entrance).

I'm not confident at all. Question: when was the last time we won an important away match, not a neutral venue for both teams but a proper away match. When we were last in div 3 maybe?
Such a worrying trend with no sign of it ending. Louth will be hungry for this. They will love to drag us down.
I just hope they throw off the shackles, stupid sideways tactics and go for it.however that won't be the case.

They usually win one away game per season! Clare, Laois, Down ... so it will have to be Louth this year!

2016 the last day of the league. Meath beat Laois well down in Portlaoise. If they had lost their match they would of been relegated.

We not only have to win on Sunday, we need to improve out PD. Down are on +3 and we are on 0. It may become an issue Sunday week.

If meath lose this game it really will be a new low 4 losses in a row. Louth will be up for it. Just hope we are too.

Louth will love nothing better to see us out of this Division. They wont be too bothered whether they win but they will be bothered if we win and they will do whatever they have to, to stop us from winning this. I expect this game to be a bit dirty, Biggy will be a marked man in this game as per usual in Louth games, from the minute he steps foot on the pitch, I only hope he keeps the head. I expect a not so clean game with plenty of handbags. I do expect us to win this, we should have no bother but look we have said this many times about other teams we thought we would have no bother with but this is Louth and we will do it.

Yes Biggy always get special attention when he plays Louth usually with a dedicated man marker. Hope he can rise above it
