I was only going by the stats buddy. Had the nipper today so couldn't even get to watch it on the Meath TV app. Take your word for it.

How did young Moran get on at full back? Irish_downunder (Meath) - Posts: 476 - 08/01/2018 07:58:52 2067270 Link 0 |
Ok. But wasn't really tested. We have had two games, one where the opposition had zero interest in playing football and the other where apart from 4 they looked like they never played the game before. Longford beat a Kildare side which had a fair few from last year, so next week will give us a better idea who is on course to push for starting place. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 17035 - 08/01/2018 09:47:12 2067283 Link 0 |
Great to see our best player and most consistent player from 2016 back Harry Rooney. I really think if we had him last year we would playing div 1 this year. He would have made the small differences in them tight games. Anyway lets see how gets on this year. bobkarlgees (Meath) - Posts: 1192 - 08/01/2018 11:35:05 2067312 Link 1 |
Great to see harry back no doubt. He still has a lot to prove in my opinion.

I thought he did very well. Seemed a little nervous which is to be expected. Would like to see him start again

good enough performance but Wicklow so poor, we moved the ball quite well going forward, looked fit and quite sharp, in fairness the pitch was in perfect condition which helped, a bit worried about the amount of silly frees we gave away in scoreable areas, ref was fussy but we dont seem to learn how to play the ref during a game. longroadback (Meath) - Posts: 300 - 08/01/2018 12:36:23 2067330 Link 0 |
