Replying To Meathmaster:  "4 very good individual players who walk onto any team in the county however they will not win a Championship defending like that. Ultans scored 4 goals, 3 in the first 10 minutes and could have several more!"
Apart from Morris who are the other 3? Is Meade still eligible?

Don't get carried away. It was the fourth tier of the U21 and they only won by 4 pts

Jaysus just saw he got 1-11 in a 4 point game. Monster scoring. He could really be very good. We are crying out for an inside forward, maybe he can be it

He's exceptional lads but we need to be patient with him. He's only under 18 next year.. still very young. No doubt he'll be starting for nobbers adult team next year but no matter how well he's doing I'd be giving him plenty of time to adjust to playing adult football before I would even be thinking about calling him up to senior panels

Fully agree gotta look at the bigger picture.
Next years under 20's will have Conlon,Moriarty,Walsh and Morris in the squad, that looks like a tasty forward line

Ohh I def agree I was talking 2020 range. I'd be playing him under 20's next year. I did hear rumours about him transferring to a Cavan, think his dad is from there but let's hope it isn't true

I'd said before that I'd like to keep an eye on Jordan as he's my GAA coach's nephew and it looks like he could be really something. Obviously I take on board the points others here have made about not heaping too much pressure on him and also the level of the game he played in the other night but 1-11 from one player is still mightily impressive by any standards!

Yes he has really blossomed over past 2 years with meath u17 setup led by ronan kiernan seems to have really got him going.
Still I would not be getting to over the top 1-11 in grade 4 u21 is fair enough but long way off even junior club football

Was at the moynalty/carnaross game today, absolute disgrace who ever sanctioned these two teams to join together and play in the 3 rd tier of the u21 championship
Moynalty had 16 of there own players togged out and carnaross had 11/12
A panel of nearly 30 players doesn't make sense when 1 team has 16 of dem for a 13 a side competition,

Jaysus Ziggy , you ll have Andy McEntee grabbing the players of the U14 panel yet the way your going . lets not throw the young lad under the bus just yet .
Jordon is a talent , with a drive in him that has been missing in the Meath forwards for a while .
He's been nurtured within the Meath set up from U14 upwards , don't go railroading him into Senior level , or he'll head to the sticks before he's 25 .And the same with Walsh .

He's moved schools from O Carolan Community College to Carricmacross so you never know whats on the cards

Meade, Jack Condra and Thomas Murtagh were the other three star performers on the night.

Seems like a big squad. Very one-sided it seems. Who were the star performers on show.

Looks like a cracking game yesterday between Kilary and Kells, did Kells leave it behind or what was the story? who done the damage?

Wouldn't get to carried away with scoring 1 11 in a div 4. 11 a side game. He is good but we have seen to many lads like him over the years come and go at minor level. Let's hope he continues to improve over the next 4 years then he will be able to take that jump to county level. He's still under 17 and may be at his peak

Yeah it was a cracking game of football kells were 9 points up just after half time but killary played some great football in the second half. Killary moves there wing forward to center back and that was the changing of the game he intercepted everything and started all there attacks with great runs from the back. The winning score was worth winning any game was a beauty of a score. The best performers for killary where Michael Fedigan, Daire Rowe, Evan Hoey and Padraic Dillion.
