Yep still has a lot to offer at club level.

Cilles didn't make it easy for themselves by not dropping a man in front of him. Most of his ball winning was out in front and not high ball.

First time seeing Cilles since Croke Park. They look tired. They should survive and get their well earned break.

Big Time if they put a man in front of him they would have won the game..He was the difference

Cilles players are out on their feet. Secure position and take some well deserved rest, full on assault next year.

Dunshaughlin beaten tonight by St. Pats, the last round fixture v Skryne is going to have a lot riding on it.

Pats to beat a poor Dunshaughlin team who only scored one point from play last night and that was fisted over, only scorers were Toolin and Dwyer. As I've said before past glory has no barring on today's form and right now Dunshaughlin are struggling, could easily end up
In lower grade next year , have barely survived over past years
Ratoath were miles better last night and if it was a dry night the gap would have been more"
As I said Pats to beat a poor Dunshaughlin team
This was a poor game and Dunshaughlin bottled it while ref was given them every chance for the draw
Now they have to face a Skyrne team who are also fighting for there lives
To be fair neither are playing well but I think Skyrne shade this game and once again Dunshaughlin will survive by the skin of their teeth because he Duleek are that bit worse

Full all assault to what ?? that team are no where near good enough to get any where near winning a senior championship..

While I agree, I do believe that they will make the knockout stages next season once they have a break over Christmas. They are a better team than they have shown so far this season. If they can consolidate their position in senior over the next few years, their underage teams coming through will massively strengthen them over the next 5-10 years.

Skryne - Dunshaughlin will be some battle. Can see at least one red card in it. Would have definitely gone to the game were it not on at the same time as the Ratoath - Dunboyne game.

That's your opinion. I respectively disagree. Certainly good enough to get to semis. And we will see from there.

I think we will certainly win it over next 5-10 years and lot more than once , with what we have coming through

Underage success guarantees nothing. A lot of clubs have had plenty of underage success and not won a Keegan Cup. It's a bit premature to predict you'll win it more than once

And you thought you would be at the business end of the championship this year and yet you haven't won one of your 4 matches so far...

Fair point..But Going on your performances this year i cant see it...Maybe the year will brings yous on but would be shocked if they get out a group next year...Ourselves (seneschalstown) and Omahonys are very poor this year and yous couldnt even beat us..Blackhall are shocking and could only draw with them..

Cilles in particular had a lot of underage success in the 2000's and only last year won an intermediate. So the example of how underage success can actually count for nothing is a lot closer to home than you'd expect. However, I'd imagine they won't make the same mistake twice.

Would that group that the Cilles are in be the group of death? From an outsider having O'Mahoneys, Simonstown and Seneschalstown alone is tough enough itself. If the Cilles were in another group would you they do better?
