Mary was the mother of Seamus and Adrian Cassidy who played on the St.Mary's team that won the Junior Championship in 1979. Seamus lined out in goals while Adrian played at full forward. Seamus moved to Dublin afterwards and joined the Dublin Fire Brigade. Adrian lives in Laytown.
