Ulster Champions.
On behalf of the club we would like to congratulate Mickey Graham and all the Cavan team on their great victory on Sunday in the Ulster final, its shows determination and love of the jersey can bring results, As we have a good sprinkling of Cavan people within our parish it was a great occasion for ye and no one more so than our secretary Marion Mc Cabe a true blue Cavan & Ballinagh woman, hard to listen now to her for a while but fair play to her she is giving even money on Cavan to beat Dublin so give her a shout, the holy communion money will be coming out now, and like a few of my relations in Gowna they will be saving the price of a ticket for the semifinal the cute Cavan people watch it on TV. Best of luck Cavan in the semifinal hopefully another surprise, also well done to Tipperary on their great win as well and as we have a few characters both male & female from Tipperary in our parish they could be crowing for a while, how about a Cavan / Tipperary final Maher might give odds here
Deepest Sympathy.
The club would like to extend its deepest sympathy to our parish priest Fr. Peter Tiernan on the sad passing of his brother Pat who’s funeral took place in Ardagh last week, A dheis De go raibh anainm di.
