Lads it's time for deanmartin to go. He has been boring us with his sterile views for a few years now. We have given him enough chances. How much more time does he need. I feel there is a good bunch of posters for him to work with here, probably the best that has been around for a while but dean is so stubborn, he won't change his mindset. He thinks by saying the same thing over and over again he will get results but it's just not happening. Dean has a few backers and a few yes-men who tell him he's great. This keeps him going and feeds his delusion. He thinks that one day he will achieve his aim but he wont. It's time for him to go s goldrick (Cavan) - Posts: 5356 - 09/02/2016 19:56:37 1824189 Link 0 |
S Golderick . I've read some of your posts on the main forum and they ridiculous . Do you remember the post about scoring 2points for hitting the crossbar? And you have the neck to criticise a poster because he's not a Terry yes man? Grow up its a forum . Some of your views I don't know how you get them past the mods Awwwwnow (Cavan) - Posts: 1050 - 09/02/2016 21:16:23 1824227 Link 0 |
He's right bout deanmartin,if it is who we think it is I know for a fact he doesn't even go to his local club games never mind Cavan games..there's a good chance he's never even seen half of that Cavan team play. CR7 (Cavan) - Posts: 117 - 10/02/2016 10:56:09 1824305 Link 0 |
Excellent article by Eugene McGee in the Independent the other day about our game against Derry. Ned_Stormcrow (Cavan) - Posts: 1022 - 10/02/2016 14:15:37 1824388 Link 0 |
I did say we failed to push up with wind till 22nd minute. Also said some players sloppy in possession so don't know what's your agenda. He said it was a surprisingly open game. Not the all out defensive game that some people said on this forum who ironically weren't at the game. The reason for attendance would be a combination of factors one being the bitter cold. doratheexplorer (Cavan) - Posts: 1467 - 10/02/2016 14:47:31 1824405 Link 0 |
Well McHugh and I agreed on one thing and that was Cavan had enough chances to punch the ball between the post, as for the crowed it was that fecking cold I was surprised there was anyone there what a miserable evening. The Quiet Man (Cavan) - Posts: 4565 - 10/02/2016 15:13:02 1824417 Link 0 |
The main points regarding Cavan from the McGee piece as I see it are as follows aceofspades (Cavan) - Posts: 228 - 10/02/2016 15:42:47 1824433 Link 0 |
Ned's comments reflect the absolutely horrendous attitude among some Cavan supporters. Doesn't bother going to the game, but is online straight away after the final whistle to slate management. Hasn't seen any scores or incidents in the game. Hasn't seen anything the team did right or wrong. No appreciation for the manner of defeat. And then questions the attendance! You couldn't make it up. JonSmith (Cavan) - Posts: 1451 - 10/02/2016 15:56:29 1824445 Link 0 |
McGee couldn't even get the scores right. A terrible article from start to finish. Right at home in the Indo. JonSmith (Cavan) - Posts: 1451 - 10/02/2016 15:59:26 1824446 Link 0 |

Doratheexplorer - what did Mickey Brennan say on wearecavan? fredflint (Cavan) - Posts: 1333 - 10/02/2016 18:22:37 1824509 Link 0 |
Person in question tweets a lot during Cavan games. Mickey said for a person supposedly so passionate about Cavan football he doesn't go to many games. doratheexplorer (Cavan) - Posts: 1467 - 10/02/2016 19:13:09 1824532 Link 0 |
Dora - your point about the weather and the poor attendance - it wasn't cold in the middle of last Summer in the Championship, from recollection, our neighbours Monaghan outnumbered us 2 to 1, the same for the Roscommon game. deanmartin (Cavan) - Posts: 643 - 11/02/2016 09:31:03 1824591 Link 0 |

Golderick you talking about another posters time to go. What gives you that right on a forum just because you don't agree with what they say about management . Should we all agree with you and Fredflint and foolsgold? Should we? Awwwwnow (Cavan) - Posts: 1050 - 11/02/2016 10:37:58 1824610 Link 0 |
Nobody has taken Mcgee serious in about ten years. A busted flush. As for attendances Breffni hasn't being full in years for a Cavan game long before Terry. I'm not a Terry fan by the way. Think it has gone stale but I am a Cavan supporter. doratheexplorer (Cavan) - Posts: 1467 - 11/02/2016 10:50:44 1824614 Link 0 |

Worth noting we outnumbered Laois supporters in Portlaoise last year and the same in Galway (until hurling supporter started coming in late on) JonSmith (Cavan) - Posts: 1451 - 11/02/2016 12:47:49 1824669 Link 0 |
