Gaelstud also ACFL specialist too but can't get it together for championship. A case of Killeshandra being much more sharper and hungry with Declan McKiernan running the show. Mackey fouled anytime he touched but yellows given instead of black. Paddy King good too.

Castlerahan running a strictly fundraiser. Maybe the Gaels could give some fundraising advice.

1764020 Watched the matches in Breffni park over the last two weeks I have to say Killyshandra and Arva played great stuff. Declan McKeirnan Darragh Tidge the two O'Reilly's all played well one other person stood out and that was Joseph Masterson in goal he made some fantastic saves wort another watch, Young McTggert in the junior side Corlough team has a great future but will he be lost to the system because he is a junior player. I agree with rahanman about relegation and promotion it will make it a lot more interesting and competitive as well but I would go with twelve senior teams for now.
If you are an intermediate you play in that section if a junior like wise.
rahanman I agree with you but 12 instead of 10 for now.

Sean was the Corlough v Maghera game any good?? I hear 6 men sent off for Maghera. What happened there?

On my sheet I think 7 got their marching orders. As a contest sadly Maghara were very very poor what a shame they are cramped between a few clubs. Hard to give a constructive report on this match but as I stated all ready I think Corlough's number 8 is one to watch he kicked some great scores from play and free's.

Watching both the Lavey V Cootehill game and the Drumgoon V K'court game the standard of football wasn't great. The amount of mistakes made in the Lavey game was something serious, loose hand passes, wrong decisions, incisive point kicking but overall a very enjoyable game to watch. Was great to see Colm Smith back and moving well for Cootehill. Thought Lavey shot themselves on the foot with silly tackles leading to two black cards. Was wondering if Cootehill would be able to make the step up to senior level and looks like they may be able to. Looked like they played bad, dug in deep and came out on top, just about.

Drumgoon looked dyer. They will be a junior team in no time the way they are going. No youth in the team and still relying on the likes of Keith Fannin and Big McDonald in the middle. Wasn't to impressed with K'court either but maybe they were never really out of second gear.

Some tough draws in the next round. Who do you's fancy coming out?

Yea I agree Drumgoon looked dreadful because they were and Kingscourt never had to break stride. But to call them an aging team isn't accurate at all. Apart from 3-4 of the starting team, the rest are under 30 (including Mick McDonald). They also have 6 lads all under 25 in the States including the 2 Moynaghs so there is talent in the club just not around. Probably favourites with Drumalee to be relegated but if the right structures were in place they'd be a team fit to stay Senior every year

Don't be surprised if Ramor and Drumalee win their matches this weekend.

If Castlerahan played like they did last week don't be at all surprised if the Intermediate team Crosserlough beat them.

Maybe Ramor, but aren't Drumalee sitting bottom on division 2 with zero points this campaign?

I don't care what division they are in or where they are in it. This is championship football I saw them last week and I say don't be surprised ??? Funny you did not question the intermediate team ???

What are you on about? I simply said I expect Denn to win, Drumalee have been getting hammered by intermediate teams all year. Sitting bottom of Division 2 with 0 wins and 0 points from 8 games.

You're right that this is Championship but they have shown nothing all year to suggest that they will beat Denn today, who themselves have struggled for most of the season, albeit at a higher level.

No argument just an opinion which will be proved right or wrong over the weekend it's that simple. Redhill's are gone they are a shadow of the team from last year

Agree Redhill are in a bad way at the minute, its sad to see considering how many good county players they have produced at minor, u21 and senior level, they must have been hit hard by emigration.

Ramor battled back well to beat kingscourt, not many on here fancied them! Crosserlough looked a good but young side against the rahan, would like them to stay up! This weekend i fancy.....Mullahorn to beat ballinagh, Ramor to beat killagary, Lacken and the gaels is always a tight affair maybe Gaels just edge it! Cootehill to beat killeshandra , Kingscourt to beat Cuchullains... thoughts?
