I backed Mullahorn a few weeks back after seeing them playing a few times but only got 12/1 for them. I think they have a stronger squad than most other senior clubs at present. Think they are a good bet as a lot of the so called bigger teams in the county seem a bit outdated and living on the hype they have generated from years back. Have seen Castlerahan playing a couple of times and they could be there or there abouts. Gaels will obv have a say but other than that I can't see any surprises happening. Anyone else reckon so? Any of the so called smaller teams have a shout?

Dunno how good or bad the Goonies were, but Denn played very well. Kingscourt prob win nothing this year. If Ballinagh are nt at the races its the Geals to lose. Maybe Castlerahan might do it......

It will be interesting to see what Brady does with Killygarry what odds are they??
What will Corrigan do with Cavan Gaels? Watching Kingscourt V Mullahoran Friday night I saw nothing from either side to have me thinking they will be there or there about's but I suppose the way it's working get beat get a second chance get beat have another chance it should be straight knock out only way and more interesting. The number of people at Thursday and Friday's matches is an indication the supporters are not taking it seriously and are staying at home.
Asked about Enda Saturday and I was told he was still in hospital so I wish him a speedy recovery.

The goonies were terrible and denn haven't a hope of beating mullahoran.from what I gather 16 c'ship games will be played and that still only cuts it from 17 to 12.

reckon Drung will be hard bet with the warrahs and McEntees playin great stuff.. beating Redhills only be a formality...
any truth in Ciaran galligan being back with the drung set up?

No harm to ya lad. Was at the Drung game & they are brutal, if the Laragh management had put the 3 subs on from the start they would have bet them. Drung wont beat Redhills, nobody to mark Gumley & Mooney. Go back to sleep lad.

I'd say Drung will be more worried about Andrew Dunne and Kevin Duffy pairing at midfield, two fantastic footballers,And Richard Murphy to spring of the bench.

Don't fancy Lacken atall. They have not been going too well this year. Think they are bottom of the ACFL league but not 100% certain on that.
Have yet to see Ballinagh play this year but heard a few people bigging them up also. Can anyone see Denn, Lavey, Cootehill or Cuchulainns going anywhere?
Considering Cuchulainns got so far last year, will they get so far this year? Haven't heard anything about them the year.

Ballinagh cud sneak into last 4 alright then you never know.Cuchulainns have tough opener but if they got a good draw after that they could have a run.theyre very top heavy with excellent forwards in smith and doughty but are limited at the back.i fancied ramor to go far but I believe they have injuries to two key forwards.its hard to look past Gaels, mullahoran and kingscourt in last 4 with maybe ramor/ castlerahen making up the semi finals

Lacken have a chance. Probably best midfield in county. Also couple dangerous forwards. At a push I'd say Gaels or Kingscourt and give the Gaels the overall nod. Lyng Johnson and Dunne will win a lot of games themselves. Ramor still developing and injury doubts over some players while Castlerahan missing some key physical players like Wright.

What a result for Killeshandra at the weekend. Didn't see or hear anything from the game but by the scoreline it seemed to be a dominant display.
Just wondering about all the comments about the Senior Championship been cut to a certain amount of teams. Well I hope this has changed their minds.

Who is playing this weekend, does anyone know? What way will they go?

Seen Arva beat Shercock also. Fancied Arva anyway but seen Shercock were about 6 points or so up at one stage.

Killeshandra were worthy winners on Sunday dominated throughout and kept working their scores.
I would still say that the SFC needs to be cut to 10 teams. Problem is getting all clubs to accept this. Agree a format of how the competition gets reduced to 10 and 10 for IFC and stick to it (no going back because you find yourself in a lower position than you expect) the rest can contest the JFC .

If you want to play SFC then win IFC

IFC win the JFC

Like it is supposed to be and while I am stirring the nest , 1 Parish 1 Club. We have way too many clubs for a county our size.

Watched the matches in Breffni park over the last two weeks I have to say Killyshandra and Arva played great stuff. Declan McKeirnan Darragh Tidge the two O'Reilly's all played well one other person stood out and that was Joseph Masterson in goal he made some fantastic saves wort another watch, Young McTggert in the junior side Corlough team has a great future but will he be lost to the system because he is a junior player. I agree with rahanman about relegation and promotion it will make it a lot more interesting and competitive as well but I would go with twelve senior teams for now.
If you are an intermediate you play in that section if a junior like wise.
rahanman I agree with you but 12 instead of 10 for now.
