Fantastic to see St Pats back in a McRory Cup final. It's another indication that we are successful in producing and developing juvenile talent in Cavan. A Special word of congrats to Finbar. ondforty (Cavan) - Posts: 442 - 02/03/2015 10:54:28 1698210 Link 0 |
It has been a long wait for the college, 40 years, and it is another boost to the under age scene in the county. Best of luck in the final! kildare blue (Cavan) - Posts: 572 - 02/03/2015 10:57:57 1698211 Link 0 |

Looks like Danny the gunner will have to wait several more weeks before he can get his minors together then. mowbar (Cavan) - Posts: 452 - 04/03/2015 09:30:05 1699021 Link 0 |
It's a pity it clashes with the club finals but I suppose it's something we didn't really notice before for obvious reasons . A lot of Cavan folk with a big decision to make this year . Reckon they'll be heading North instead of South . Hardtimes (Cavan) - Posts: 1056 - 04/03/2015 10:57:05 1699055 Link 0 |

Hardtimes.... Why would Cavan people have a big decision to make on Paddys day...? Whats in Croke Park to catch their intrest over the McRory Cup Final...??? Sean66 (Cavan) - Posts: 440 - 04/03/2015 21:46:02 1699315 Link 0 |
Lots go every year to Croke Park Sean . I'm sure plenty still will . But hopefully there'll be enough of a buzz generated to try and get as many as possible to turnout in Armagh . Hardtimes (Cavan) - Posts: 1056 - 05/03/2015 19:32:22 1699579 Link 0 |
mowbar, Last year's Minor campaign ending in a disaster had nothing to do with Pats but more-so with the Team Management over the Minors. ballygowanwater (Cavan) - Posts: 206 - 10/03/2015 11:57:15 1701197 Link 0 |
Its the same every year - pats first Cavan second - I drop my nephew to training most weeks and pats hold about 20 lads from training. As mccrory is an u19 competition about 8 of the 20 are playing. Surely the other 12 can turn up to minor training. StirringIt (Cavan) - Posts: 374 - 10/03/2015 14:03:36 1701293 Link 0 |
Best of luck to the St. Pats team on Tuesday. On a another note sad to hear of the death of Hogan Cup winner Hugh Reynolds. doratheexplorer (Cavan) - Posts: 1467 - 13/03/2015 19:23:10 1702405 Link 0 |
BBC are showing the McRory Cup final it seems. Will look forward to seeing it. Cavan_Slasher (Cavan) - Posts: 10253 - 13/03/2015 19:37:11 1702411 Link 0 |
Anyone think there is a bit too much hype about the place about this. Can't be helping the young lads. A much quiter build up would be better. Best of luck to them anyway, could be another step on the return of Cavan football. fredflint (Cavan) - Posts: 1333 - 14/03/2015 08:43:54 1702445 Link 0 |
very good piece in the "Celt" about the last winning team by Paul Fitzpatrick. Hope these boys can emulate the likes of Ollie Brady,Ciaran O'keefe, Sean Leddy, Paddy McGill etc. s goldrick (Cavan) - Posts: 5356 - 16/03/2015 14:00:01 1703376 Link 0 |
