Joe not with Drumalee as Francis Clarke has taken over Drumalee for 2015. Have heard they where back training but not sure if it was a training session or Francis just meeting the players.

Francis Clarke, who is he or where's he from? If possible can anyone posts a list of the managers each club has for the coming season or name them on this if either possible aswell. Thanks in advance.

Francis Clarke from Bailieborough. He was with Eastern Gales the girls minor team from Cavan that won Ulster and to my knowledge he was with one or two clubs in Cavan before. Still few clubs looking for managers. From what I've heard the following clubs have these people as managers:
Drumalee - Francis Clarke
Killygarry - Ciaran Reilly
Killinkere - Damien Donohoe
Ballinagh - Bernard Morris, Sean Finnegan and Pauric Maguire.
Belturbet - Mark Monaghan, Jason O'Reilly.
Crosserlough - Seamus Donohoe, PJ Lee

Bernard Morris back with ballon agh is interesting one he could do rightly.. Is that Damien Donohoe taking over killenkere that must be his first managers job.. The Gaels have done very well by keeping Ciaran Donnelly involved from what ya hear he's a very good trainer and this loran Martin is Tyrone have heard good things about him

Mowbar and Gaelstud

Tomsmith here

I have sat back and read your posts which has taken a smile to my face
It is great to get over the winter blue to read some of your fictional stuff.
I can confirm that Peter the great has done a great job at Cavan Gaels,
I just wonder is it the lack of opposition that has caused that Gaels not to progress in Ulster?
I feel before anyone says that the Gaels have not progressed, Look at your own club. WE have won is it 9 out of the last 13 championship. I might be wrong as I have lost count after 8 championships.

Lack of competition they won the county final by a point to 14 men.. there's plenty of top Teams in Cavan, The Gaels themselves are to blame for there poor run in Ulster and no one else!! countless times there discipline has let them down in Ulster, And I wonder do the younger gaels boys have the mental steel of gaels teams in the past to run over teams and win a number of County Titles in a row!!!

We'll see in years to come....

Both Cavan Gaels and Mullahoran are looking for Silverbridge man Fergal Reel to take the reigns in 2015. This man has a formidable record winning a Monaghan Intermediate Championship with Doohamlet who weren't great and also winning 7/12 available trophies in 4 years in Louth with St.Patricks including 3 Senior Championships in 4 years and 3 Senior Leagues in a row.

Dunno where you've been lad but the Gaels have management confirmed since December.. Kieran Donnelly and loran Martin are in charge for the year.. Mullahoran are still on lookout I think although Fintan Cahill wanted to stay on but couldn't commit for the early part of the year..

any word on any other clubs?

No sign yet off the fixtures for the year yet so we can organise our holidays for the days that the games are supposed to be played, as there's prob more chance of us not having to play that day

Ballyhaise have Elected to train and Coach themselves the up and coming year until they can find a replacement due to Felim Plunket stepping away.

Alot of experienced players and youth in the mix a championship team in the mix after last years disappiontment I cant see why this wouldn't be a Top job for any man looking for a chanllenge....
