Yes, Donegal are a good team, but they got relegated by a very poor Mayo Team, theyre going to be playing Division 2 football next year. The pressure is all on Donegal to put in a good performance in Ulster.

Cavan had an off day against Roscommon, but still ran them close, we should be going into the championship with confidence."
I believe we are in with a good chance .
We are playing better and more watchable football than a few years ago.
As I said before this is a shadow Donegal team from their 2012/2014 sides.
A little tightening up in defence and a bit more composure by forwards when on the ball and you would see a big improvement .

A very poor Mayo team? Is that a joke? That Mayo team are unequivocally the best team to never win an all Ireland, simply because they're playing in an era of the greatest team of all time, I.e Dublin.

Anyway, I digress, but thats a daft claim. Daft.

Good to hear and will benefit both clubs & county team.

Each Cavan forward should be given a video of Paddy Mcbrearty scoring points and asked to practice his technique every day from now until the game. His ''roy of the rover' style is a pleasure to watch and heart breaking for the opposition.

Wonderful player but his "roy of the rover" style got them relegated.

If you cut the supply off to him he won't do much, nor will any forward. Forwards are only as good as the ball they get

As Mike Tyson once said, everyone's got a plan until they get punched in the face.

Looks like Mackey and Johnston will be needed from the start v Donegal, with McVeety & Caoimhin both extremely doubtful with hamstring injuries, as is McLoughlin.....apparently Stephen Murray pulled his at the weekend.

Is this a managemnet/training issue....are the players are being flogged? There was disagreements between coaches/physios and Mattie last year, where they (the backroom team) were overruled, especially in the run up to the Tipperary game....is the same happening again?

Where the hell do you get your information from, how far you are from the truth is unnatural. You say there was disagreements between all the coaches the Physio and the manager thats a first for sure.
Question: who is responsible for strength and conditioning ?
Question: who is responsible for tactics??
Question: what roll do the people up in the so called stats box have towards decisions on the field of play??
Question: You have three trainers how much faith would one have on these going forward.
Question: Who picks the team is it the manager the trainers the strength and fitness trainer the stats persons or the physio.
You have players that are prone to injuries on a regular basis normally the same injuries who do you blame for these or is it alway's going to be accepted these players will be carried no matter what both at club and county level. This is not the players fault if management wish to carry them year on year.

Mark McKeever brought in as extra selector ahead of Ulster Championship.

Heard this from an extremely reliable source.

Great move for the County team.

Because he played for Cavan for donkeys years and has a serious knowledge of the game.

Currently still playing Senior club football and knows players inside out.

Is that a good enough answer?
