Phil Gilsenan of Cornabase, Tullyvin and formerly of Corcashel, who passed away on October 3rd, 2012, was a noted footballer with Redhills in his youth. But his career was cut short as he emigrated to England, where he worked for 44 years before returning to Cavan to live in Drung.
