The late John Brady, Carricknabrick, Loughduff, who passed away on July 9th, 2012, at the age of 82, played football with great pride and verve for Mullahoran Dreadnoughts in his early years. After he hung up his boots 'Red John' remained a loyal and passionate supporter of the local GAA club. Active in the farming community all his life, John also enjoyed soccer, cards, draughts and chess. Guards of honour were provided at his removal by Mullahoran GAA club, PTAA, Fianna Fail and Killeshandra Co-Op.
