The local community was shocked and saddened by the sudden death of Terence McEntee, Lisboduff. Terry had a great interest in gaelic football and music, serving Bunnoe Brass Band as a prominent member for many years. He was an outstanding coronet player. On the football field, he lined out for Drung with distinction and also represented the club with tremendous energy off the field of play. He was a selector when the JFC was won in 1980 and also with the St Finbarrs minor side that took gold in 1994 as well as the all-conquering Division Two league winning Drung selection of '97. Terry was deeply proud to watch his three sons represent the club. He also assisted Cavan County Board as a steward at games in Breffni Park as well as serving Ulster Council in a similar role. Guards of honour were provided by Drung GFC, Bunnoe Brass Band, St Finbarrs GFC, Cavan County Board and Castletara Ladies GFC.
