Niall's death last June after an illness borne bravely was greeted with sorrow near and far.
The archetypal clubman, he was a stalwart of Ramor Utd underage teams in his youth before graduating to senior ranks.
Niall captained Lurgan to the county minor title in 1980 and won a county medal with Ramor Utd under 21s in the same year.
At senior level, he helped himself to SFC medals in 1985 and 1992, playing with the sort of infectious enthusiasm, pride and ambition that was the hallmark of his time on and off the field of play.
After he retired from playing, Niall was quick to give a lot back with his leadership qualities at committee level helping Ramor to develop their facilities that spawned future underage success at the club.
Niall trained a succession of underage teams and was also generous in his funding of club and county sides through his firm of solicitors, AB O'Reilly Dolan.
Niall also made an impression at county level when representing the club with his eloquence, wit and delivery admired in all quarters.
Lurgan ladies football was well represented too at Niall's funeral as fundraising for their cause was always close to his heart as was the county teams.
We extend our deepest sympathy to Niall's family on their sad loss and to all his relations and many friends.
