Our deepest sympathy goes out to relatives of Jim who died suddenly last February.

Jim was a lifelong member of the Maghera MacFinns club and was a long-time coach of underage teams.

He played at midfield and centre back for the club during his hey-day.

He enjoyed a lot of success, winning a JFC in '66 for Virginia Blues; a JFC in '73 with Maghera; an IFC in '74 with Maghera; and a SFC in '74 with Ramor Utd.

Jim was uncle of well-known Maghera player Myles Geraghty and was assistant Chairman of Maghera at the time of his death at the age of 68.
