Paddy died last December at his home at 27 New Line, Cootehill at the age of 81. He spent some time in England and Germany before returning home to Cootehill where he met his wife Patsy. They were married in 1963. Together they had three  childen and a great source of pride for Paddy in more recent years was when he got to watch the footballing exploits of his grandsons playing for Cootehill Celtic. He is survived by his wife, children, sisters and brothers.
