A strong link with the past was severed when Eileen Brady from Tullytreane, Crosskeys - one of the community's oldest residents - passed away on Monday, February 13th, 2017. The last surviving member of her family, Eileen took great pride in the GAA exploits of her brothers, Jim and Fr Charles. Both siblings featured for Crosskeys schoolboys in 1935 and Charles went on represent Dennbawn O'Sullivans during the late '40s and early '50s.
