The infamous "Hand of God" goal scored by Argentina's Diego Maradona (RIP) against England in 1986.

Argentina GAA has joined those on Twitter in paying tribute to soccer legend Diego Maradona who passed away today aged 60.

The former Argentine captain scored the infamous "Hand of God" goal in the 1986 World Cup quarter-finals against England, when he punched the ball into the net past goalkeeper Peter Shilton. The goal was allowed to stand and England were beaten 2-1 with Maradona going on to lift the World Cup as captain.

It was a goal that every gaelic football forward would be proud of and one that the sporting world will never forget.
