Seanie was not near fit enough he had an operation and really I think we should forget last year and think about this year going forward. You let him in at corner forward and not have him coming out looking for balls then you will see what I am saying. Dropping high balls into him are a waste of time low and hard well when I say low waste high. He is fit now and rearing to go so lets see, there are other options now as well you know???

The Giveney of last season is a big loss but Keating was poor last season ,never got back to close to what he is capable of.
Mackey being back is a great Bonus.
The worry is if our best scoring forward is guy 30+ who in my mind has been flaky when the real pressure is on , very talented at a level but not sure he ever delivered in championship against better teams.Delighted to be proved wrong.

Hopefully Mattie will help us develop ,2017 to 2019 is when we will see if those 4 u21 titles meant anything. It was a very negative blueprint which did not translate to Senior.

We have a super committed bunch of players and i hope Mattie can improve them a level and keeping us in division 1 would help.

The current Monaghan team had a false dawn and came back to win 2 Ulster titles , i would take that.
