Replying To marita:  "Yes but the other 30 counties obviously think it's worth getting the 100 euro up front for the club plus or alternatively they value their loyal supporters a bit more. Many people who have season tickets are ordinary joe soaps who go to lots of club matches but may not have the means to pay 500 Quid to Club Breffni. Personally I think this is an own goal by County Board."
Club + should be available if it's good enough for 30 other counties why are we treated differently?

Greed on part of County board nothing else.

I think that Cavan County Board should re think their decision re Club + is €100 up front from each person who purchases this ticket not good enough for Cavan but 30 other counties take part? Things like this add to the apathy towards Cavan County Board and will lead to people just saying enough is enough and walking away don't continuously screw the loyal supporter time after time
G.A.A. HEADQUARTERS should even insist that every county should have this option available to loyal club and county supporters.

Just wondering have any of the posters that are upset about the loss of Club+ brought this up with their Club's Executive ?
The GAA is a democracy ,,, well an Irish version of one at least .
if you disagree with how the organistion at Central Council or County Board level is run there are mechanisms to allow you to effect change.

Alternatively you can whine and hurl from the ditch , chuck the toys from the pram and complain about CCB like it has nothing to do with you.

Or you can vote with your feet and not go to the club games.

As the 2017 season approaches Donegal GAA will be offering the Club plus card as part of its deal, this includes admission into all Adult Club games run by Donegal CCC together with your Season Ticket for access to all Inter-county Allianz League games. Donegal's opening Championship game and the Club Finals in Croke Park on March 17th. As a bonus to your club Donegal GAA will donate a large percentage of the fee to your chosen club when you purchase the club card.
I think this is a much better way to treat the loyal supporters.

After being brought back in 2018 The Club + part of The Cavan Season Ticket is once again unavailable to Cavan supporters for 2019.
The Cavan Season Ticket costs €120 and The Season Ticket and Club + Costs €200 this is available in almost all counties but Cavan have withdrawn it for 2019. They either do not like getting €80 up front or rewarding their most loyal Club and County supporters. Why?

Very disappointed that Cavan County Board have opted out of club+ again. This year loyal club + supported travelled around the county to club championship games and spent loads on club lottos at club grounds to support hosting clubs. Now with entry fees of 10-13 euros for championship games next year it will be difficult to support host clubs by buying lottos. How 30 other counties look after genuine supporters by offering club + makes Cavan GAA look very selfish and mean. At least GAA headquarters were decent enough to apologized to me for Cavan Gaa not offering club+ next year. GAA head quarters could not deem any logic in decision of Cavan to opt out.

It's odd that they are opting out for 2019 after opting in for 2018.
Maybe with all the replays this year they think they missed out on income because generally people with season tickets would generally attend a lot of games.

Club + was pulled this year after a few weeks. It was a clerical error that it was in place initally. There was only about 30 sold before it was pulled.

Cavan County Board need to get into the real world and look after loyal supporters like what's done in almost every other county.

Riding the clubs and supporters for money is not right.

This year Donegal, Derry, Antrim, Down, Armagh, Tyrone, Fermanagh and Monaghan are all offering Adult Club+ Season Ticket €200 and Adult Ulster Club+ Season Ticket €300.

Cavan have neither of these options available.

Why are our loyal supporters treated differently?

The Adult Season ticket alone is not good value if you miss a match considering the discount for purchasing the day before in Super Valu.
