Cavan v Laois

Well winner takes all I did say after the Derry match we had the ability to win the last five games we have won 4 so far now next Sunday is the day they have to stand up to the plate and do what I said they could but now promotion is in their own hands and no one else. Big crowed next Sunday predicted for this is a huge game in Cavan's progress. I think someone laughed at the thoughts I posted back then ?? I knew we had the ability and we should have won the last six games but no matter come lads let's see you take the next step.

Fair play to you Sean. I doubted it myself as after two defeats their heads could have gone down but they did indeed stand up to the plate. It's a pity they didn't beat Derry as they should have otherwise we'd be out celebrating now. A good bunch of lads.

Sean, that's four down and one to go. Fair play to you for coming on air on the Sunday morning after the Derry defeat and making such a bold prediction. The expectation level moves us a notch this week and it's up to the team to deal with it and put in another performance next Sunday.

I made that prediction because I was able to see beyond the blue and white. We have quality players on the panel and there are more lads out there well capable of making the panel so Cavan are in a very strong position player wise to progress upwards. It depends on how Mr Hyland works with what is at his disposal.
I can also see McHales forward thinking when he was working with the lad's last season for I have no problems saying this McHales stamp is written all over the way we are playing now and long may it continue. Those of you that were at the last few matches will see that the Cavan lad's are running off the ball and giving options to the man in possession. Also as much as most of us did not like what happened a few years back we have to acknowledge that Seannie is very active both vocal and playing long may it continue.
Now in our next match it has to be one of the best chances we have had in well over twenty odd years to tell you the Cavan supporters, Cavan are now well up in the top 8 yes in the top 8. Fingers crossed they hold their composer and nail it next Sunday it will be a huge tonic for people like me and those of you that are real genuine supporters and have suffered for years because winner takes all.

Great result lads delighted to get that win. I really hope SJ not out for two long but would imagine three weeks at least. Delighted to see Rory again will be well fit come championship . Some dodgy moments and a few mistakes but worked out well all in all . Next game should be a cracker lets hope for a win
