Pure crap, anyone that was in enniskillen at Tyrone v cavan will know that g mckiernan wiped out Tyrone midfield and nearly beat them by himself so don't spout that crap of course Tyrone would have him on their panel , it's a wonder any player wants to play for cat with the constant running down our players get.

I was at that match and as usual you get carried away. Tyrone stood off the ball they did not have to get involved. Plain and simple.

Why not be honest to yourself for it must be very difficult knocking your head against a wall saying they are good enough. THEY ARE NOT get used to it,

I don't think so in fact there would not be a pigs chance in hell. I am being honest. Great watching a player catching a ball but if his marker is standing back it's very easy. Sorry not for me anyway is there any good enough.

G Mac might have his flaws but Tyrone seen him as enough of threat previously to send a man out dedicated to stop him play. He also hit 5/6 scores a game and did so against manys a team. I dont know what you have against him, maybe he is one of these imagined player power people you are always on about. Cavan lost to Tyrone by a few points this year yet we are to believe no Cavan player would make their panel. Utter rubbish.

G Mac dominated midfield against Tyrone and your saying their midfield was better because they stood off him and let him catch and score 5 points from play??? He would walk on to that Tyrone team with his eyes shut never mind the panel.

Replying To blueman1903: "Well it's a good job he's not picking teams he would have them all standing off not competing with the opposition midfield." There you are the difference with you people and people like me is that I see the quality beyond the blinkers. Taking nothing away fro G Mc he has served his county very well when available but one player does not make a team. To those that made a comment about the difference in lining a pitch and picking a team I fear you don't understand. Lining a pitch especially a county pitch one takes pride in what he does the same should apply with picking a team. Well I have been around a very long time and year on year I have watched the malingerers being picked before the hard working second player. I saw their passion and work rate in training only to end up sitting in the subs bench there my fellow gaels is the reason why clubs and counties are suffering. The hard worker will only take so much of sitting on the subs bench before they start to walk. This is why we lose so many players and it starts at children's levels upwards. I have seen it happen all these years and so have many of you but you accept it. My heart tells me play the hard worker the trier who is willing to spill his or her guts to play the game for their club their county and more importantly for the players beside them. Play the game the old fashioned way all for one and one for all not one for them selfs no matter what the cost.
You will see it I am sure even before the end of the season in front of you and you will accept it.
I will make another bold statement I could have motivated the gaels to win the county final to work for each other and to show the county they are in deed the better team in the county. RESPECT PRIDE PASSION COMRADESHIP BUT ABOVE ALL RESPECT FOR THEM SELF'S THEIR CLUB THEIR COUNTY AND THE GAME.
Rant over now lets enjoy whats left of the championship. Were in Wicklow were you at Brewster for if you were you would not have come up with that one liner.????? We should have beaten Tyrone in Brewster and you can laugh all you like; PUKE FOOTBALL WAS INTRODUCED AROUND 14 YEARS PACK IN CAVAN AND SADLY IT'S THE WE HAVE BEEN SEEING SINCE.

To see two inter county teams dish out that S**Te was nothing short of insulting to the paying supporter. All Tyrone had to do off course was sit back as they had a three or four point lead. The onus was on Cavan to attack not on Tyrone. Even if Cavan were beat by ten points trying at least then we could decide if we had players good enough to be mentioned for the top 45????
