Where is the best place to source Gaa memorabilia ?

I am looking for a framed picture of the 1947 Team >

I can see the poster on ebay but it must be possible to source in Cavan or Ireland at least ?

You could probably get the picture by scanning out of a book and giving to a photographer or framer. Dan Galloglys book on Cavan GAA would be a good place to look if you have it.

Eamonnmac: Believe it or not I got a lovely framed colour photo of the "47 winning team. A friend gave it to me and he said it came from an old man who died in Westmeath and they found it when he passed away about 10 years ago. It is about 2ft by 1ft 6ins in size and was framed in Enniskillen. The text is old Irish and I dont know if it is a rare piece or fairly common.
Maybe it is an omen for Cavn to reclaim lost glory this year....

There was a framed colour photo of Cavans 5 all ireland winning sides on the 1 photo about 3x2 that came out maybe 10 years ago.
I got one as a present so don't know who issued it but Paul Fitzpatrick of the Celt should have an idea if you contacted him
