AGM 

It is planned to hold our annual general meeting at 12.30pm on Sunday December 6th 2020 at the club grounds. Like all events this year, this may be subject to change depending on government guidelines after this level 5 lockdown. Everyone is invited to attend and have a say about club matters. The format of the meeting will be designed to cover the agenda in a short time due to the current pandemic. More information after new government guidelines are issued! 

Ulster GAA Football Senior Championship 

Congratulations to Pádraig, Mickey Graham and all the Cavan team on a most convincing win against Donegal in the Ulster Final at the Athletic Grounds in Armagh last Sunday. Back in March we didn’t think we would ever see a game of football this year. Such an emotional win for all the Cavan supporters who have waited 23 years for the day! Now we have a semi-final to look forward to on Saturday December 5th 2020 at 5.30pm. Fr Gerry has kindly moved the Mass on that Saturday to 4pm! 

Shop Local 

Coming into the Festive season the committee would encourage everyone to shop local and keep our town vibrant. If everyone would consider spending even a little locally it would be a great help to all our businesses.  

Lotto 

Draw held Tuesday November 17th 2020 in the club rooms for a jackpot of €4800. Numbers drawn 12; 16; 20; 22. No jackpot winner and no match 3s. Next draw Tuesday 24/11/20 for a jackpot of €4900 and match 3s share €150 if no winner. Thanks to the lotto team who are in the clubrooms every Tuesday to do the lotto draw! Everyone is encouraged to play online. You may play for a friend or family. Please support the club fundraising. Any member of A Chairde Realtai Dun a Ri Family Membership Scheme may change their lotto numbers at any time. Please send an email to [email protected] with your new numbers. Please list 4 numbers per line between 1-35.
